Kristen Koppers for Regional Superintendent for Schools
Yesterday, I was thrilled to be part of the La Salle County Republicans Party South Prairie Meet & Greet. I met so many great candidates working to better the state in so many ways from individual rights to the economy. To be in the same room with these candidates proves how much there is a need for change in Illinois. This week I will be speaking at the Kendall County Republicans Committee meeting in Bristol, IL. I am grateful for being asked to speak about who I am and my goals as the Regional Superintendent of Schools for District 24.
Education is important to me; not only as an educator for 20 years but also because I am a parent. Throughout my years in education, I have seen how much it has changed. I am running for the position of Superintendent of Schools because I saw the negative effects this pandemic has hurt my son. When he was forced into quarantine due to close contact, he was not given any type of remote during the five days he was not allowed in school. No one would help me fight for my son so that he did not miss out on his education. I realized that there needs to be someone to be an advocate for the children and to fight for them.
Many of you have supported me in the process of getting petitions signed, coming to my meet and greet events, donated to my campaign. I cannot do this without your support. We need to make a difference in the lives of the children to be able to protect them. Please consider making a donation to my campaign so that we, together, can make a difference in education.
It’s time to Restore Education in Illinois.
